@Fredrik: Sure I can't imagine any other way, man ;) I'm glad that you like this oriental-themed tune.

'Gal' for girls was used all the time by a Scottish guy I knew ages ago. I don't know if it was his own dedicated slang or not but he was going, "Awww gal I'd sweep your cat flap. Gonna whoop the flange t'nite, eh?" Being drunk, sometimes he talked for hours and we didn't get a single word :)

Ok! I just tried it in SAM/Reciter and indeed sounds like that! :)

:)LOL. Imagine a black rapper like Shaggy saying 'Girl'...that'd be pronounced like 'Gaal' if you type in SAM reciter...maybe..I didn't try, just speculating...
'Gal' with one 'a' means something like 'baby girl' or 'little girl' in English btw...so I'm not too far...:)

Excellent selection of angle for the strings. Good quality, nice gaal.
No I know what Minorita means :)
Oh, man, that baseline is very unique. I got used to it in the meantime and love it \o/

Awwww... my false memory.

As far as it seems, project is still active as discussed with API guys in the meantime, it was just put away because of other projects have been finished since then. Well then, take this release as some kind of preview: there will be a little demo by API in the future where musician girls get what they deserve from us ;)

This pic is from a small tribute demo plan to musician girls that have rested for too long to consider the project aborted. No reason for letting it rot in a forgotten disk further so finished pic+sid were slapped together and launched now, project closed.

2 years ago this was my first attempt using a cross-platform pixel tool /Hey thanks Oswald!/ and the first time I touched a C64 GFX program again after more than 15 years. Don't make a guess, pic is wired with the footnote that it contains big amount of re-pixeling in details. Feel free to find real pic, post, start witch hunt, whatever. I don't care, it was fun to make and the experience paved the way for other pics later that were also fun to make. Tune is the API version of Rising Sun that belongs to "7 Stars" intro by Hokuto Force, released last year. The difference is the oriental intro in HF version.

It's summertime: just track the sun and have fun :)
