@ DeeKay: Thanks. I tried to implement the "UNDIMPLEMENTED COMMAND ERROR"s of the c65 but it was not that good, so I just made the look of C65 BASIC.

I like C64 screen more then the green 128 screen. But C65 screen is the best. c65 also has 40 column mode, but that's just all blue color and white letters, so nothing special.

Haha, nice idea! ;-) Now do a c128 (40 col) startup screen for c64! 8) Or even better yet: port BASIC v7.0 for c64! ;-D Shouldn't be that much of a problem, should it? Is there anything in it that really makes use of 128KB? "go64" should be the easiest command to implement, simpy JMP $FCE2! ;-D

Oh yes, I'm an big C65 fan, too. Well I searched lot of very interesting pictures, infos and facts about the c65 hardware. I saw 4 C65 in my live which were Rev 2B (working) and one 2A (BILL missing).

Sry for false name. I will see what I can rename in. Maybe C65 startup screen on C128? I know it's a very simple program and not that much special but I wanted to share it with all c65 and c128 fans. No problem, just your commet was a bit rough. I had also trouble uploading this, it's my first try ;)

This program simulates the c65 prototypes startup-screen in different versions of the roms
on the c128 80 colum mode. It is not an emulation of the c65 BASIC 10.0 commands or functions.

@ Adam: If you think an real c65 emulator is possible on an (older) c128 you have no technical background, sry. C65 is much more powerful, uses different chips and it needs always an much more powerful system to emulate then the emulated system really has. Sry if this fun program was not that what you expected.
