"Any indication on any additional video emulation features when the GPU mode is active?"
its only related to how the pal emulation is achived - no functional or visual difference.

I have tried it on the half cycle mode but it still produced the same results. Perhaps the half-cycle mode was de-activated when i attempted to activate it. Any indication on any additional video emulation features when the GPU mode is active?

@algorithm: If you want to watch demos with VIC II trickery, I suggest you to verify that the halfcycle mode is enabled in the video options. This is also the default mode since build #591.

@MagerValp: An OS X build will soon be available.

Very nice, and a big thumbs up for the VIC and 1541 sounds.

Since the main emu is SDL, any chance of a Mac version?

µ64-ide looks pretty sweet, going to have to play with it a bit.

Vicious Sid's vic screen seems to work with this. Thumbs up.

Crashed on my machine. (GPU Radeon HD 5450) A workaround was to install an older version of the atioglxx.dll library into the same folder as the emulator. However this resulted in only the Pal emulation operational by the CPU rather than the GPU! (Would love to see the pal emulation via GPU) I would guess that would give more authentic visuals. Does not emulate the automatic sprite expand method (which is used in NUFLI, MUFLI, UFLI, MUCSU FLI etc)

It just needs proper OpenGL drivers. I've seen many clean Win7 installations that didn't have any.

Quite an accurate emulator with lots of useful features and tools! (Run-time debugger! \o/) Just a shame I don't have a super computer to use it effectively. Tested it on my Windows 7 3GHz 2GB RAM PC at work... emulation performance was 5%-25%. :( Guess it requires a top-shelf GPU.
