Forgotten and Found 3
Aka: Logo’s x3

searching through some old disks I discovered:

Avatar Logo - Extra Terrestrial
Cosine Logo - Mermaid Style
Cosine Logo - Celebration

Created around 2006:

Released 2011

Avatar Logo ‘Extra Terrestrial’ was created after The Shadow/Avatar requested a logo. The resulting logo looks like something growing in a field, possibly something from out of space. To my knowledge the logo never appeared during an Avatar intro.

Cosine Logo ‘Mermaid Style’. It was very much inspired by the whirly curly images created by Mermaid. To my knowledge the logo has never appeared during a Cosine release.

Cosine Logo ‘Celebration’. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of the shoot’em up Parodius/Konami. I own all the Parodius games on Sega Saturn. The plan was to re create on C64 a screen that came somewhere close to achieving the same level vibrance of the original.

Cosine Logo ‘Celebration’ - Breakdown:
The Cityscape is a shameless conversion taken from the original. It tiles left and right with itself, and was designed to scroll from left to right.

The black mountain range tiles left and right and was designed to scroll from left to right at a slower speed than the Cityscape.

The Cosine Logo was inspired by the Star Wars Droid R2-D2

The female face is that of Suicide Girl Debra Jean (aka: MsDanger) The objects protruding from her ears were inspired by the Jap Playstation 2 game Katamari. The red outfit - Strider/Capcom was possibly entering my thoughts.

To complete the screen, the idea was to have lots of colour pixels (stars) rain down the screen via the upper border, and fade (melt) before they reach the city.

To complete the part, the plan was to add an upbeat *happy* tune, and a scroller in the lower border using a dark-grey hires interlaced 2x2 font. The side borders to were to be dark-grey.

What would have been really good, was if the part featured real firworks. C64 demos need more fireworks! :D
