I never appreciated car games so much just Pole position, even if you speed up the cpu clock on emulators it doesn't make this game so catchy. Anyway we decided as most of our prods to deliver it to the scene as best we can to satisfy our eager of collection!

I'm happy to take the blame for this release actually. This game is one of worst piece ever done for c64. However its story is quite interesting. The first coder, who tried to finish the game, apparently abandoned the project when he realize that it was impossible to port the game on c64. At that stage Domark decided to finish the game with someone else and they released the game as soon as they could to achieve the deadline. As far as I know the game was released initially only in a compilation and then as budget game under the Hit Squad Label. The conversion anyway ended to be a total fail even if the initial project was a bit more interesting as you can see from here: http://www.gtw64.co.uk/Pages/h/Review_Harddrivinv1

@Didi: thx Didi. Excatly, this game suxx and we admit it without problem. We took the challenge to get it a bit better than it was originally... "We give dignity even to the lamest games !!" is one of our mottos after all ;-D

Nice work but I don't like the game itself.

Still a crap game with so much fundamentally wrong with it, trying to squeeze any extra enjoyment out of it is a waste of time.
