Of course it's important. This is a database constructed to gather (correct) information.
It's clearly stated on the submit page; "Please only provide information you know to be correct. The accuracy of this database depends on submitters being sure of the information."

It's not a good start adding confusion to the database. "MADMAN DEMO III (C) 1986" year set accordingly.

The release date (11 November 1984) can't be right since it uses the Master of Magic music.
