"The more radical the difference between low and high ratings, the better for me"
thats something those who repeatedly whine about "downvoting" should try to understand - true art creates conflict, and not everyone likes it.

that said, i find the music somewhat interesting, but as a standalone track it doesnt do it for me. it DOES support the mood of the picture though, so i guess it works :)
as for the picture itself... i dont know what to say without getting nasty about it =P typical beginners piece, i guess :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Music is something that comes naturally for me. I have a radio in my head that can't be turned off: I make a living of it, I'm an old dawg with 20+ years of continuous experience - but I admit that many times I fail to enjoy it.

GFX is someting that doesn't come naturally at all but I enjoy every minute of it. The only purpose is just creating some atmosphere in a recognisable frame. As the output is C64 multicolor, there is no point of digging it in a box.

Anyway, it is nice to have some echo from viewers, be it positive or negative. The more radical the difference between low and high ratings, the better for me. So, at the moment having an average 5 without actually having any rating of 5 (neutral) is okay because it shows that the purpose of creating some emotion is fulfilled ;)

Maybe you should have chosen another category. I rate this 10 for the music and 5 for the gfx (which is interesting but not really spectacularrr) divided by 2 equals 8 :)
