Up Yer Bum!. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of the shoot’em up Parodius/Konami. I own all the Parodius games on Sega Saturn. The plan was to re create on C64 a screen that came somewhere close to achieving the same level vibrance of the original.

The screen came about after creating Cosine Logo - Celebration (Forgotten and Found 3) which was inspired by Parodius/Konami. Some of the graphics are based on the original Parodius pixel's using the C64 limitations, while other graphics in the scene were created with the aim of attempting to replicate the style of Parodius. This in itself provide quite a challenge. - WEC
