No.217+/WEC

Created 1993 - 2003
Vidcom 64/Omega [1986]
HISP Editor 1.0/Black Mail [-]

Released 30th November 2003

Based on the image ELP IV/HR Giger [-]. I just love the work of Swiss surrealist painter, sculptor, set designer, HR Giger. The original Multi Colour Bitmap, No.217 was created in 1993. With a bit of extra work, that included the addition of a Clown fish, and some Lower Border Sprites, was released in 2003, at the Willow Party. Back in when ever, after the release of the HISP Editor 1.0, and long before 2003, a total of 9 HISP fish were created. With luck, someday the other 8 might be released.

Other ideas that never came to fruition included animating the tracks on the left and right in opposite directions. Having the fish move. Better still, having the fish move, with stretch / distortion FX.

Goof: For some reason, the lower border Sprites do not align 100% with the Bitmap. I’m sure they should have.
