Very nice gfx by alf. Richard likes mixing last ninja 2 with driller and lots of tusker.

This preview has atmosphere, nice gfx, nice music, and it's a sidescrolling shmup (a genre I totally love on other platforms) BUT is it really necessary to be so sparse on the bullets? This is the reality in (almost) ALL other shoot em ups for the c64, I know, but that ruins them for me. I want to shoot every time I press the button. Gimmie (at least) 2 or 3 bullets onscreen and this will be really nice!

I like this one! Just some comments:
The "get ready" part sometime half-disapears if you press fire too much at the end of the level.
Some of the levels need to be a bit longer (please)
How come the "natives" only shoot straight ahead? They walk right by without even noticing you... At least on the later levels, make them smarter! (like, either come to your column of the screen or try to shoot you at an angle)
This is an awesome game, but some tiny improvements would make it even more awesome :)

tape loader is very nice, a "press a key/space to start game" when the loading ends instead of jumping directly to the game would be nicer. This goes for every tape loader out there which has interesting content ;)
