@ STE'86 I've uploaded a new version here Multicolor2Char V0.2 . This old version only worked correct for 4BppIndexed bitmaps.

err... this doesnt actually appear to work?

it will do the character count and show the bitmap.

BUT... if you try and save a viewer file where there isn't one (create a new one) it crashes.

if you save over the default one then try to save over it a 2nd time, it crashes

when i did save the viewer file and ran it (242) chars it got some of them right and made a complete mess of the rest.
