j0x: Thanks for your fix but it shoudln't been under ikari/talent release , it should have been declare as a different entry with your credit for fixing ( i can't say i like the
fixing work over old cracks but i
respect everyone who fixing games in a general approach )
c0: i still don't get why someone who fix a game 20 years after the original
date should be labeled for talent/Ikari ? but its a complicated issue i know. AFAIK its not common and polite to fix old cracks if you don't belong to the original crackers

The file originally uploaded here is identical to the one at GB64, so that may be the source. IIRC, Mason, you passed it on to Michael Plate.

Yeah it was the catapult problem you fixed.

Also the blanked version. Just can't remember what was changed to blank it.

Where the release comes from I don't know. I didn't spread it

Ah, that first comment should have been directed at Count Zero, too.

Browsing through correspondence with Mason, I can see that I knew about the lack of virginity of the I+T version at the time, and the version I sent to Mason (this was never intended for official release) was manually blanked by me.

Dr J: Looking at Kings Bounty problem reminded me that purchasing a catapult in-game would often cause the game to hang on a PAL machine. That was all I fixed, if I remember correctly.

C0: Didn't know the original version was tainted. I don't recall why I didn't crack it from a clean original. Perhaps an inability to obtain such an original? Perhaps just laziness?

This version is not "virgin" so one cannot start a new game from it.

As the depack screen states:

fixed by jox on 2010-09-20. thanx mason!

There was additional fixing done on this version of the release. What exactly in detail maybe jox can explain.
