This is indeed really great! Well done!
I always thought something similar should also be possible for the magnetic scroll games. I think on the c64 they are practically unplayable due to the slow disk access... Perhaps a suggestion for your next project ;)

I had to pad the z4 to exaclty 0x80000 (512K) bytes to make VICE understand it was a reu image, else nothing happens.
