Oh, indeed.. Yes, now everything seems fine in all respects. Still wonder why the driver was released this way though. For people to beta test it?

workaround:
$ mkdir /Users/matan94/Library/Preferences/org.viceteam.x64/

... already fixed in trunk :)

Okay, thanks for the link! That made a clear difference. Seems to work fine now, yes.

(Got some other problems though, that I didn't have in the past, relating specifically to the OS integration. This obviously has nothing to do with this release, but I paste it here anyway:

AUTOSTART: Loading PRG file `/Users/matan94/Downloads/MouseDriverV0.7.prg' with autostart disk image.
AUTOSTART: Turning true drive emulation off.
Disk Create: Error - Cannot create disk image `/Users/matan94/Library/Preferences/org.viceteam.x64/autostart-C64.d64'.
AUTOSTART: Error - Error creating autostart disk image: /Users/matan94/Library/Preferences/org.viceteam.x64/autostart-C64.d64
AUTOSTART: Turning true drive emulation on.
AUTOSTART: Error - `/Users/matan94/Downloads/MouseDriverV0.7.prg' is not a valid file.

More specifically, I got it from here:

I've got the latest binary for Mac from the official VICE sitee. Says "2.4" when I check from within the emulator. Maybe it is outdated. I don't know. ...which would mean that the latest version is not available for mac, but maybe that's old news.

Also works fine on 2.4.18 - there quite a few changes to mouse emulation a while ago, so upgrade :)

I don't see a problem with the mouse emulation (2.4.9 Xaw). You must be using a really old version I guess.

Does not work well with the mouse emulation in VICE. Not sure if this is VICE's fault or a fault of the driver, but might be good to know in any case. Also curious why you chose to release a driver without source code, since it is hardly useful as a binary release?
