I tested all versions of this on SD2IEC and UltimateII+ on an NTSC system and all of them freeze the system before even making it to the boot screen.

So great! I just love these updated/improved versions of the old classics. Hope you will someday do the same for Ultima V. Switching 8 disk-sides is one of the reasons I never played that one back then.
