Encore and TheRyk, thanks. Yes, indeed, back in the day the PAL version was somewhat buggy yet playable in America. Every group had spread that release so far that, by the time the official USA version appeared, no one cracked it - that i recall anyway. I've been searching all of my disks and gamebase originals and finding fun little things like this here and there for us USA sceners and gamers to enjoy. Have a few more i'm working on that, quite frankly, I'm surprised haven't been cracked and/or spread. Stay tuned.

Seems to be based of the NTSC Elite/Mindscape-version, which has a bit different coloring on the levels (see tuesday) compared to the original PAL Elite-version, slightly altered text on the titlescreen and slowed down title and highscore music. I've managed to play this version on my PAL C64 at one point, but it seems there's some timing problem in the beginning which blocks starting the game. Kudos for making a crack that's NOT based on the PAL-cassette version. :)

wowzers

Though, alas, I ain't got an own real NTSC machine, I think from trying this on emulator in both PAL (where it really ain't work, surprise, surprise) and NTSC (and having fucked around myself with PAL/NTSC a little before), I can judge that this is a very decent job, keep it up! Cheers from old Europe! ;)
