Listening to this tune every now and then. I really like it.

This tune is quite obviously a RAW tune. A Real Authentic Wonderful tune. Not that same ol' Jazzy stuff that a lot of C64 composers seem to mimick from the likes of Vibrants, or the POP stuff from MON. No offence at all, I seriously like Vibrants and MON. But it got old real fast.

The experimental part was just seeing what I could do with the rhythm and bass sequence once I had it established (experiment for me rather than anything fancy to do with instrument design or technical trickery).

Yes, using 3 SID voices is very experimental and highly unusual.... ;) Well, just kidding — but I don't see what exactly is experimental about this tune. In any case, I like it a lot. Nice one!

I wish people made more laid back tunes like this. Sometimes I get the feeling that people have some sort of urge to prove something through their tunes, rather than just making nice muzak — like this one.
