Just to clarify.
1) There's no garbage text in the dox
2) The 'N' issue caused by the last choice of trainer menu happens *only* in VICE in WARP mode.
3) The invincibility issue is not a real bug to consider a release broken. Gameplay is not affected. You can always exit from demonstration with the RESTORE like you have to do in the original if you don't want to wait the end of the demo.
Stop. Have fun with Onslaught childish version. It's 101%. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 9 November 2017
10x for the release. nice work! | User Comment Submitted by Giulio/Wolf on 8 November 2017
This kind of comparisons always made me laugh. They are two machines so different in hardware that is silly try to say that one is better than the other. It has more sense to me compare ATARI 2600 and C64 that at least share the 6502 CPU opcodes. And in any case, C64 can draw monochromatic gfx like the Spectrum but the Speccy cannot draw multicolor gfx. Case closed. Stop. ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 8 November 2017
rule#1: you won't praise speccy on a c64 site. | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 8 November 2017
@Chancer: maybe on speccy the gameplay is better, but the colors are a punch in the eyes | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 7 November 2017 User Comment Submitted by chancer on 7 November 2017
plays far better on zx spectrum version.. c64 version was "Ok" compared. I cherry pick the best versions of games, not so worries about which machine. |
