Speedball 2 on the C64 is a very nice conversion of the 16bit original. No need to change anything, right? Wrong! Why not make a good game even better? After all, to squeeze everything into 64K, the game lost several in-between screens. So Excess went to work with legendary pixel artists STE'86 and JonEgg as well as SID musician Saul Cross. The team also got support and endorsement from original developer Dan Malone! Knight Rider stiched everything nicely together, so this is the "final cut" you want to play on your C64.

To fit all the new content like new graphics, new digi sound and new sprites into the game, Excess opted for an Easyflash cartridge release that makes up to one Megabyte available to roam stuff around in the C64's memory, resulting in a all-new Speedball 2 experience. And while they were at it, they also included Speedball 1 along with all the docs for both games and a save game manager so you can save your files to disk or load them into your Easyflash cart. Both versions have been bugfixed and work on PAL and NTSC machines.

Now forget about your ice cream and grab the game already!
