I modified the original SFX Sound Expander tool 'FM Sound Editor' to allow a DATEL MIDI Interface ($DE04-$DE07) and FM-YAM to be used together in a slot expander (such as XPander 3).
The SFX Sound Expander had an extra expansion port to plug-in a midi cartridge. The DATEL seemed to be the only one working. However, the circuitry of the SFXSE changed the address bus slightly, for it's own purpose. This however made it impossible to use the MIDI interface and the FM-YAM with the old software. So I changed the code of the old software to fix this.
