Well, not necessarily as Petscii allows also to check if the HTTP User Agent is PETSCII-like, so you could render the lightweight version of the website on server side just by asserting: $petscii->isPetsciiBrowser().
The other thing is the transliteration. Performing that on C64 side would be too heavy.
We have to face the reality, C64 web browsers are not developed further... I still have a hope though that I will see fully working Singular Browser someday. I have to talk about it with Soci! |
