Yes, really nice! But I must admit, the diagonals being almost-but-not-quite aligned with the fat pixels is bugging me too.

Overall excellent though.

Looks cool! I'm a bit divided over the fact that the diagonal lines aren't 45 degrees, so those lines are a bit jagged. Can't decide whether I like it better that way or not. It is possible that "perfect" 45 degrees lines would have looked clinical and dry in a boring way.

Btw what's up with the palette. The yellow just gets eaten by the white. I never noticed that with my 1084s monitor. But maybe it did?
