2nd and 3rd Button go to POTX and POTY lines respectively. The difference to Amiga is that on C64 those lines must be switchted to +5V, not GND - see http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/DE-9_Joystick#2.2F3_Button_modificati..

Is the C64 really able to detect 3 fire buttons?
It does not with my joystick witch I made to have 3 buttons (amiga).
