@grasstust: It might be a million reasons why it crashes so just as @frantic said, please share the logs. But to give you some help I recommend that you verify the following:

- You need to have libsdl installed, you can install it via brew (if you are using that) or by downloading both development and runtime libraries via www.libssl.org (as I wrote in the readme.txt file)

- Please verify that you give it permissions to execute because its not a signed binary. If you open up the security settings you need to give CGterm permission even that its not a signed binary.

- Remove the old installation of CGTerm (but please make a backup of your bookmarks if you are using that)

@Grass: Did you open Console.app to see if there were any particular error messages printed out?

Hmm.... This crashes when opening on my MacBook Pro, Big Sur....

The binary isn't signed so if it doesn't start automatically make sure that you allow it in the security settings.
