This was one of my own disks so yep, this is most likely the Ohio Whiz Kid. It was on the same disk as Smurf Rescue, so I misrepresented this Whiz Kid twice already. Fixing it now.

It was 84, so this could be like so many other old ones - a parameter copy or unprotected game that has been tagged and spread. FWIW, "Whiz Kid" (Joe) was one of the original DLoC members - not sure if this is the same guy, but Ohio would be the right area. Which collection you found this one in would help narrow it down?

Great catch. That kind of puts its' origin as a Danish crack in doubt. Maybe this GPN NTSC fixed it?

The loader doesn't work on PAL, works fine on NTSC
