@bacchus: you can use 24-bit addressing in all commands, so:
M R:12345-
T R:A01000 A02000 7:4000 and things like that will work.
Note though that autoscrolling with the cursor is not going to work correctly for >$ffff addresses. I have a plan how to add it, but it's quite fiddly to get right. | User Comment Submitted by Bacchus on 8 December 2021
The REU support gives you the option to select REU (*R) but how does that work? I assume you still use 16 bit addressing which will only access 64KB of the REU. What if you want to access the next 64KB? | User Comment Submitted by Count Zero on 10 October 2021 User Comment Submitted by Richard on 10 October 2021
I just had a go with the saving in Superfluid's M/C monitor and a full crunch test with Exomizer. It works in freeze mode. Great :) I might use this for my next C64 coding challenge. | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 9 October 2021
@Richard: what do you mean? Do you want to save only RAM or do you want to save the I/O area $D000-$DFFF, or perhaps even the char ROM?
All three are possible, but the default is only RAM. | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 9 October 2021
Nice update. One thing which probably be handy I'd like to request:
Being able to save a full chunk from $0801-$ffff in machine code monitor - including $d000-$dfff. Do you think you'd be able to implement such a feature? | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 9 October 2021
Good work! Looks like it is about time that I look closer at this project. |
