I just had a go with the saving in Superfluid's M/C monitor and a full crunch test with Exomizer. It works in freeze mode. Great :) I might use this for my next C64 coding challenge.

@Richard: what do you mean? Do you want to save only RAM or do you want to save the I/O area $D000-$DFFF, or perhaps even the char ROM?
All three are possible, but the default is only RAM.

Nice update. One thing which probably be handy I'd like to request:

Being able to save a full chunk from $0801-$ffff in machine code monitor - including $d000-$dfff. Do you think you'd be able to implement such a feature?
