Most likely since it does a cmp of hi & lo byte of the counter, when it should do an ora like in Mazy +3.

Since this (and all the other games) are multi platform games mainly released on Japanese micros, using some kind of custom library or even cross compiler, I wonder if the same timer bug will manifest itself on other games or other versions of this game. Not that it matters for the C64 crowd but interesting to consider.

I like this game! Too bad the timer is bugged when you get to level 8. It's probably the same in the original, but not sure. I want to play this game farther! If someone can fix the timer, that would be cool! Thanks for the games, I am going to play them all to submit some fun scores to cbm8bit.com.
