I fixed the save/load functionality. The new build can be found here: Stunt Car Racer SuperCPU save/load fix.

@cobbpg
It would be cool. I sent a PM with .g64 where save works. I tested, for example, the version https://csdb.dk/release/?id=41866, saving to floppy disk and tape works here.

Yep, the base version I used is broken without my patch too, so I'll just find a working one and should be able to make the same change to get a fixed build.

@radius75 I'll check if somehow the original I used as the basis for this version already suffers from this issue. If so, I could easily reapply the changes to a known good version.

I checked on Vice 3.7.1 x64sc and xscpu64 (turbo on/off). I checked on real c64 (no scpu) with Ultimate2+.
Writing/Loading to diskette did not work.
What can I be doing wrong?

@radius75 The patch doesn't touch the save/load logic at all. Doesn't it work if you set the CPU speed back to normal while using those features?

@Raf: Find it here Stunt Car Racer +5 - but this one does not adapt the timer apparantly.

Silly me. Draw distance IS mentioned in the notes.
...but what others have said: Turbo Chameleon support and Ultimate 64 turbo support would also be great.
Makes you wonder though, if the Freescape games could benefit from some tweaks too.

WEll, the thing is that SCPU stunt car racer was released already in 1999 albeit I never attempted at running it http://supercpu.cbm8bit.com/games.php

Thank you so much, you made a dream come true! I've always wanted to see a SuperCPU-version of this game but wasn't sure if this was really possible. Well it obviously is. Thanks a lot! 10/10

Wow! You made an unplayable game playable, and it's now really fun! Thank you.

Pretty cool! Always wanted to see something like this. :) Support for Turbo Chameleon would be great too.

There's an edit you can make to extend the draw distance as well, but I didn't see that mentioned in the text file.

SuperCPU support here is very nice, good work. I've asked myself a few times in the last years, if something like this, could also work for a patched image-file of the Final Chesscard?
