Uploaded a version first which version works in Vice 2.4 (see file with *vice24* text in the filename). This doesn't work in new Vice versions, therefore I added a 2nd file as well, which should work in e.g. Vice 3.6.

In the meantime I have already fixed this sync bug in the sideborder opening routine, tested it on several different Vice versions in Pal mode, C64 old, C64C etc. and works fine it seems with a small additional logic (thanks to Ciccioriccio for his idea, works perfectly!). It is a good question from what the different behavior comes from, in different Vice releases. I'll test it on real hardware soon and if everything is fine, will upload the fixed version as a new entry (as requested earlier). In the new version, I'll try fix the grey dot error and also the flickering raster in the right sideborder as well.
