Using 2 drives I noticed a few tracks on the backup with errors this also happened with my original but in 1 drive mode seemed to do great! Thinking my drive was weak that was the backup drive I switched and still same happened! And now reading I see Count Zero found the same result!

I see some other older versions now so I will see if they do it and check back here!

Thats prolly a pic of a drive which Giga-Swappers used. Writes track 18 only to both sides while moving the disk on a production line and spits out the finalized spread disk at the rear. (Back in the days that also took 21 secs overall) :)

srsly, since there are a few v2.0 and v4.0 versions online (with interestingly changed menus) and we had a little drama at 21 Second Backup V4.1 I did a few basic tests with a recent vice version (having 21sec parcable emulation):

Using single drive normal copy with verify
x64sc -default -userportdevice "20" -parallel8 "4" 21_Second_Backup.d64
will create a 1:1 copy just fine

x64sc -default -userportdevice "20" -parallel8 "1" 21_Second_Backup.d64
gave me errors

Dual drive mode is a little hard to use with the program trying to "soft-wire" drive 8 to 9 and something spooky is happening with the super nibble option on the vice extend track policy query here. Sigh.

Anyone else not only looking at the title pic? :)

Once I had a very wide Amiga 500, which got its width from the combination of A500 + CPU-turbo + harddrive + action replay, all connected next to each other. I never had a 1541 drive this long though.
