Looking at some hashes, I'd dare say that the Orion Questron II and Fusion Questron II imports include the fixed "Q2" file in question. I can't say for sure without trying the game and this is NOT my kind of game. The original Questron II v1.0 disk "Q2" file has an md5 hash of 676f42aab904a41d0cbf02e76bb7e7ee which matches up with said non patched file on the NFI release while a few imports I checked of the NFI release have a "Q2" file with an md5 hash of fce8188694bc1a88e2aa8b354aee9266 which is most likely the "Q2" file from this release.

Anyone up for digging deeper?

The file "02" mentioned in the intro is missing on the disk... Could be this "entry" > Questron II +
