@O'Dog: Interesting to hear your thought - why would level skip be different if it's to the next static or randomly generated level? It's also a fast forward to the end if you want to see the end sequence.

I guess he is using his self-developed C compiler OSCAR for his games.

@Bacchus: I doubt the sense of levelskip with random generated levels.

Please tell me this is coded in C and a compiler generated this, as the code is strange. Fully readable machine code, but no human would code like this, or?

There are aspects of this game that are really sick. The Load and Save are implemented without any Kernal support, so there is a lot of peeking and poking of $DD00. Utterly strange.

@Bacchus: "I night do"? Stay off the old Vino Rogue, if I were you :p

Great release.

OCD over spelling, or OCD over a trainer? Is there really any difference? :)

The card trainer made us lose the firstie. I wanted that and when I had a version ready without it, there was yet no version out.

I guess a level skip also makes sense. I night do a typo fixed version with that also added as an option...

Typos happen. No big deal. Join the fun.
@Igo: Look what AI makes of it:

Hope this doesn't destroy your fantasies. ;)

Some do releases and some to nitpicking on other peoples releases. In some groups, OCD is a recruitment factor.

At least we were consistent...

Funny typo, didn't notice before Igo pointed to it.. :D
It is present all through the release: Filenames, intro, docs.

Why losing the firstrelease? This is called "ROUGEBOT". That must be a totally different game, or? Whatever a bot with Rouge on his face is up to.

Completely different trainer approach than in my version. I skipped a shield cheat because it appeared redundant to my infinite health. I also had max. amount of cards at start cheat, but did not implement it because just setting start value to maximum did not work flawlessly and I wanted to get it out of the door. I see you also had to do some more for this cheat to work. Docs are really needed for this game IMO. Fun fact to the FLT docs: List in the "Screen layout" section refers to a screenshot from the original manual which is obviously not present in a text-only version. I did not include this list because it made no sense to me without the picture.

Trying to perfect the trainers, we lost the race for the first release but our trainers would still make our version better.

We had a longer discussion over the status save and decided to keep it, also in trained mode. It's not a high score where a trainer would be cheating the score.

The ingame keys will set the maximum to the highest value it allows, and also set the current value to the max. This is applicable for health, energy and shield.

The cards trainer was a bit tricky. We need to set the 8 cards per round, but given that you only have six cards to start with, the deck need to be maxed out as well and you also need to get a sufficient number of cards. I chose to randomise a set for you.
