35 years on, 4-Mat still at it. Clever stuff!!! Feel like I wasted a bit on having a dual sid setup 6581 and 8580 now!! Cheers :)

VERY COOL !!

based on my original coco dac player with additive synth....

LKP Thanks. If you're using Vice before pressing SPACE go to the monitor and type this to turn the SID channels off:

>1142 04
>1287 04

or you can turn the digi channels off with:

>46 a9
>47 08

Very inventive

Could a demo be written using this idea, so that we can test the seven voices by turning these voices on and off with keys 1 through 7?
That would be fun and convincing.

It appears that the 4 extra voices are generated and combined in software and then output using the "oldschool" volume register digi method.

Nice tune, doesn't have to be long to be "proper" IMO. The digi voices sound cleaner than Polyanna, too.

Cool work! I don't really get it, is it like some sample-playback of the different channels? Magic stuff still!

Sounds good. I am not sure i can hear 7 sounds playing all at once. I assume they are.
