Just in case: the package for Linux is still shipped as a Docker image. It's based on Alpine Linux 3.18.6, up to date, and supported by the development team.

When we added support for working at non-extended images, we focused on this mode and missed something during testing. ALBERT 1.2.0 does not correctly save the mode within a project file when it involves extended images. This version fixes that bug.

Apologies for any drawback that this might have caused. If you created an extended image with ALBERT 1.2.0 and saved it to a project file, you might want to refer to the below instructions to correct your project file.

Quote:
In your Web browser, navigate to: https://hexed.it/

Use the "Open File" toolbar option to open an ALBERT project created with version 1.2.0.

File contents start with the below pattern:

`0xFE, 0x61, 0x6C, 0x70, 0x72, 0x6A, 0x00, 0x03`

The first value after 0x03 should be one of:

- 0x00 = hires
- 0x01 = multicolor
- 0x02 = hires + hires sprites
- 0x03 = multicolor + multicolor sprites

Change its value accordingly and use the "Save as" toolbar option to save a fixed copy of your ALBERT project.
