Behind the Soviet soldier are depicted:
- an obelisk on Mudyug Island in memory of the victims of the intervention. It bears the inscription "To the glorious patriots tortured by the interventionists on Mudyug Island 1918-1920";
- monument to the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812 in Polotsk (Belarus);
- an obelisk in honor of Minin and Pozharsky, who organized the resistance against the Polish invaders. It was installed in 1828 in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin;
- The Chesma column in honor of the victory of the Russian fleet over the Turkish in the Battle of Chesma in 1770;
- Dolgorukovsky obelisk in Simferopol in honor of the victory over the Turkish-Tatar troops in the Crimea;
- monument to Kutuzov in the village of Gorki, near the commander's command post during the Battle of Borodino. |
