Ian Coog: Being critical and insulting helps no one. Back in the old days of the scene, people gaslighted and insulted each other and worse.
This kind of behavior continues until someone actually dies. Rest in peace Intensity, Fatfrost, Warewolf and Hoxy :(
We are a community. We are an enduring community. There is no reason, going into 2025, that there should be petty bickering among us.

@Fungus: Exactly, you hit the target, hobby and fun for middle age and younger generation. Anyway, this release is considered a first release, and as it was developed, it doesn't entail any penalties. To consider it a perfect crack, it could have been optimized by removing the unnecessary part.

Ya'll stop being pedantic ffs. This is a hobby and it's supposed to be fun.

TFM, just do V2, no shame in it, I do it all the time, even when I get shit for it. Better a bug free release than egotism.

@IC: Dear Emiliano, don't get upset if Santa Claus didn't bring you anything also this year. You're wasting your talent, but at least every now and then you remember to use your skills for HVSC. You could change your handle into keyboard warrior.

Blah. That's on me, I'm a lamer, I know it, so what's new?

I actually took it out of one version I trained, but it had a glitch, and I guess I forgot to remove it on the final version. <shrug>

We all cannot be perfect.

what? there is no "professionalism and deep knowledge of the c64" leaving a BASIC ROM copien in RAM, that's a lamer's work

@Ian cOOg: Those who spend their time blaming rather than praising, on one hand demotivate those who have worked on the release, and on the other hand nullify their own professionalism and deep knowledge of the c64. A good new year's resolution would be to try to grow intellectually and, above all, personally, and to return with more courtesy. Thank you for trying, for everything else, we have artificial intelligence.

you could have at least cleaned the BASIC ROM copy at $a000-bfff, the author did the mistake of including it in his fix and you didn't even check what was there =)
