Well, it seems I'll give it a try within the next weeks. Today I'm using Ditheridoo from abyss connection but albert seems to be a good choice.
As I can see there is als a worksteps saver, this could stop the endless discussions if I'm doing the work by myself or not.

Bundles for GNU/Linux users

An experimental AppImage file is provided for GNU/Linux users. This is a portable bundle that includes ALBERT and its sole non-system dependency. System dependencies users are expected to provide include: the GTK 2 runtime, the GTK 2 theme engine "Murrine", and curl if they plan to transfer artwork to an Ultimate device.
A Docker image for GNU/Linux is also still provided. It's based on Alpine Linux 3.20.3, up to date, and supported by the development team.
