- v0.73 now compresses data up to 10x faster, with indentical output to v0.72. Compression time is roughly equal to Exomizer, while Pucrunch is so fast it can't be even clocked
- Still loses (and will in the foreseeable future) to Pucrunch and Exomizer in efficiency, but there may be some advantages, like using a bit less memory and zeropage. Crunching data starting from as low as $0200 should be possible, but end of memory wrapping is not handled, so one page must be reserved at top of memory (C-64 $ff00, or VIC 20 $7f00). Optional byte mode -b could be seen as an advantage too, but also that loses a bit to its main competitor TSCrunch. This is why this is called V0.73 and not V1.00! :D
- v0.72 added VIC 20 executable mode (8K-35K extra memory only and no support for decompressing over memory holes) and a decompressor version that reads data from file (via CHRIN)
