Return of the Boat/WEC

Created 2006:
Photoshop/Adobe

Released 24th August 2006

Inspiration for Return of the Boat came from Multi Color Interlaced image The Boat/Blemish of Clochard and Draco. The aim was to recreate the image using hi-res Bitmap, and set the scene 40+ years forward in time.

Photoshop, 320x200 Canvas, VICE Colour Pallet, and a couple of inspirational images was all that was required to pixel Return of the Boat. Photoshop is ideal for re creating Hires Bitmap. To pixel Multi Colour Bitmap, FLI, or IFLI, personally I’d find that impossible, as the blur factor simply isn’t present, as it is with a Commodore 64 and Commodore monitor.
