Awesome picture. I dunno where to start with listing the stuff i love about it! ;-) Ofcourse the sky is great, as mentioned. but let's not forget about the forest and the mountains in the foggy distance, really well done. a+ for the pooping bit! ;-)
But what i like best about the picture i think is the contrasts it contains: the comic-styled elk versus the realistically drawn sunset. the joyful happy shape of its outlines (and ofcourse the pooping! 8) versus the graveness of the beauty in the scenery.

Deer-in-beautiful-wood-scenery is probably a theme that has been done to death, and (atleast in Germany) it is symptomatic for a certain style of pictures usually found in elder people's homes. Mermaid has managed to make a great satire of that AND at the same time capture people with the beautiful scenery nonetheless..

Totally impressed by the night sky in this picture. So much atmosphere.. and the way the elk happily poops. (:

Well, at least Leon has the guts to do his personal-vendetta-downvotings in public...

Lovely sky, great feel. The thing that makes me like it the most, is the 'poop' being jetisoned from behind, *very* realistic. Is that where the song is coming from? ;)
