I'd planned something considerably more ambitious for the compo, but when it became apparent that that wasn't going to get done in time, I wrote this single level shooter in under three weeks. The only code that existed before 2007 is the music routine.

It's not the most polished beast ever, but hey - it's the first game I've ever released that's entirely mine! My thanks go to A Life in Hell for much useful feedback over the final week of revisions.
