Lengthy with tons of good stuff. Loved it. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 13 October 2015
*facepalm* I didn't even notice as 7zip unpacked it without problems, it's not actually a zip but a lha :D
dl renamed to cucumber2.lha, could be even deleted =) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 13 October 2015
no idea what happened in the meantime but for me the zip is ok, also checked with 64copy, both zipcoded archives converts fine to d64 and demo runs flawlessly in VICE 2.4.20.
Added a zip with the d64s | User Comment Submitted by cba on 23 May 2011
Yeah it seems to be corrupt | User Comment Submitted by ready. on 23 May 2011
is it just me or the file:
noname.c64.org/csdb/getinternalfile.php/13432/cucumber2.zip
is a corruted archive? | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 22 July 2010

Did someone steal Jucke's comment? | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 8 December 2006
@oswald: that was me =) that intro contains all the (ugly =P) code which i made after 7 years of not coding at all (made even before we did cj1) so don't judge it too hard =P excuses i know hehe =D | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 8 December 2006
btw WHO dared to code a kefrens bar in 4x4 ? he should get a darwin award or something :D | User Comment Submitted by Puterman on 2 January 2006
groepaz: Yes, I'm well aware of that, and I always watch demos on the real thing, I was just saying that it might have been a more sensible default to turn the IRQ loader on. The loader works fine on my hardware, but I don't have a 1541, so the demo assumes it won't work. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 2 January 2006
puter: if you check the demo you will see that at startup it presents you a menu showing what it detected and wether it will use irqload or not, and it even gives you the chance to correct what was autodetected! that is also mentioned in the notefile! so wtf, i couldnt care less what happens in emu if it works fine on the real thing :) | User Comment Submitted by Puterman on 1 January 2006
It might have been a good idea to always switch on IRQ loading by default. But I guess it's a bit late to change that now. :) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 1 January 2006
jucke: the weird behaviour is because vice disables truedrive emulation while starting up (eg when you doubleclick on a d64)... the demo checks if its running on a 1541 at startup and disables irq load if it thinks it doesnt, and then you will get what you describe :) watch on the real thing...or atleast manually load it in vice if you have to :=P | User Comment Submitted by Stan on 14 December 2005
@Jucke: I strongly suppose that your request goes out to Groepaz. Hm, I should watch it again also, nine years you say? OMG. ;) |
