archieboy :) you rule man :P I can tell while I am drunk at some random party if you doubt me ;) | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 9 September 2007
The dithering and pixeltechnique in this almost makes me cry (with joy)! Haven't seen someone that smooth in a very long while, it's almost like what I call the "dutch school" (Hein, Mirage, Sander). I don't think there's anybody today that's able to do thin black outlines in multicolor like this guy and get away with it! Also the detail with just a few well-set pixels! Fantastic! | User Comment Submitted by Saphir on 12 May 2007
Great pic.. stylish... perfection.. nothing more to say.. :) | User Comment Submitted by Morpheus on 6 May 2007 User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 14 April 2007
you made it a flat 10. Would have been the perfect add for joysticks :) | User Comment Submitted by dalezy on 11 April 2007
finally a full pic after the 2 logos, and what a nice one it is. it's a well deserved 1st place. =) | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 10 April 2007 User Comment Submitted by Matt on 9 April 2007

Great pic, colour choice is excellent! | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 8 April 2007
My favourite in the gfx compo.
I just love those candy-color-combo's.
Looked like shit on the bigscreen but rocks on the real thing. | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 8 April 2007 User Comment Submitted by Hoild on 8 April 2007
Nice, positive and colourful indeed! | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 8 April 2007
I don't know why but this picture didn't feel like a c64 gfx to me. but of course this is not a bad thing. it's different in a good way. probably because of the usage of colors... | User Comment Submitted by Oxidy on 7 April 2007 User Comment Submitted by RaveGuru on 7 April 2007 User Comment Submitted by Mirage on 7 April 2007

Really nice one - small, but top notch! | User Comment Submitted by Sander on 7 April 2007
Nothing to add :) Lovely, my 2nd fave from the compo. | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 7 April 2007
That is a fantastic image. Very unique and vibrant colour (although, that may be the saturation issue again!) Check your emulator settings, as I know you're using the correct palette now with ProjectOne). Just update the CSDB entry to state gfx type as FLI.
Really excellent - The work of a true master! :) | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 7 April 2007

Love it, especially the background. Bright, cheerful and beaming. An excellent piece, Archmage! | User Comment Submitted by Archmage on 7 April 2007
So this is my first c64 picture. Done in Project One and released in the gfx-compo at Breakpoint. Looked rather strange on the bigscreen, but anyway... I had good fun doing it. Thanks to the loud drunken Finn next to me for moral support. Enjoy! |
