@Psycho: The music of mine that reminds you of the style of this tune, was usually just me being inspired by MSK, back in the days. :-)

Cool tune, btw!

"the alternated melody line sound a bit uninspired compared to the first version", yeah this I've noticed too. But that becasue author wanted to get closer to the original. First version seemed more playful. But anyway one of th best sids in last years.

Same here, but -to defend the author- this edit is closer to the original.

7.9 is a bit underrated, btw :)

I liked the sc7 version more than this edit, the alternated melody line sound a bit uninspired compared to the first version.

it's alternated a bit in comparison to sc7 edit. hence the expanded title, i guess ;)

High technical level and wicked instruments, but i find the original boring and the cover doesn't change that.

Somehow reminds me a lot of Coops Up by JCH & MSK. That track I liked, this one I do not (and yes I know who made it) why? Nice sounds, yes.. but overdone drum fiddling, utterly boring and endless melody repeats, too much fiddling, etc. It will probably end up high in the compo nevertheless.

Victory of course belongs to Alex this time, if only for the fact that he had to pull out from the Sid Compo a few months ago. Very well done.

I really like this cover in many aspects it gives me a fun feeling and the sounds reminds me about an MSK song called "Land of Illusion", along with a brushed chili of PRI. Tech: It's well done and manage to catch the physical frames of the original song. The "freebase" solos are very well done, the echos/delay sounds right and tight like a squeeze of a kiwi!
