Thanks for the help! I wasn't thinking and just loaded the first file of the disk (the broken Shorture). Nice music in this short demo.

I've released fixed version somewhere else but it seems someone had uploaded the same disk with releases to every release entry (what a waste of resources) ;-)

Load it the "natural C64" way rather than drag-n-drop the file into Vice, and there'll be no problems.
BTW, Shorture (also on the disk) is broken, and is the first file on the image.
