tried converting a b/w 320x200 image. it complains about just everything, it should be 192 pixels wide, should be in 4 bit colors, should have 7 used colors..

Ah found a solution. Hope this will handle more formats in the future.

Just like droiD64, I`ve always wanted to add this to CSDB. You can easily convert images in BMP format to various c64 image formats with this. This program is written in JAVA, so you can run it on WIN/LINUX/MAC... It follows the concept that you prepare your images using your favourite painting program beforehand.

Something that is special here: The output files ONLY contain the BITMAP DATA, not the colours! This saves memory, but limits your pictures of course. Add the colram and screencolours in your code.

Well... I know there are better ones, but this is _mine_ after all :)
Have fun with this.

p.s.: I almost forgot: Intentionally I just coded this to release an official METALVOTZE pr0n show on c64. Well, you knew it all the time, didn`t you?
