Based on an image simply known as Catalogue Cover for NIPPON-HOSO/Hajime Sorayama. At the time I was really into a book called Robot Sexy, that was filled with images, mostly chrome, by airbrush artist Hajime Sorayama. I remember trying to work out what makes chrome look chrome, and what makes some chrome images look more chrome than others. It took about one week to pixel Chrome Head. The face, and neck areas worked out well. The rear of the head could use some extra work, as I was never quite satisfied with the results.
The picture was sign Shaun, as Wile Coyote hadn't happend by then. |
