That would make a nice classic '80s gametune, indeed :)

Man, with buddies we played sooo much of that kind of stuff in the '80s... You're right, the tune has that kind of nostalgic feel.

This tune could fit in a game, there you chasing something, or shooting something.
And there is a timelimit.
0:39 minutes into the tune, your time is running out, and you are going to die.
Is sound happy, so perhaps you are shootning on something nice, coloured ballons or like that :)
I get a nostalgic feeling about this tune, do you get that too?
