Wild West Tank Girl/WEC

Created 1994 - 2009
Vidcom 64/Omega [1986]
SHF-XL V1.0/Crossbow/Crest [1997]

Released 1st November 2009

When using an editor that offers possibilities not usually available (on other editors) it can be all too easy, to be sucked in, loose sight, and end up with what I ended up with, something I called ‘raster sky’ (depicting an explosion of sorts) . Wild West Tank Girl contains a raster sky, all be it a more fitting sky (than the other one).

Based on an image of Tank Girl. The black outline was created in 1994 using Vidcom 64, and appeared in Issue 5 of Ingenious Brain/Equinoxe. Some years later, colour was added using SHF-XL V1.0 to test the editor, and released as Tank Girl. Some months later, Wild West Tank Girl emerged, as Tank Girl with its raster sky (depicting an explosion of sorts) looked too flat.
