Thanks for pointing out that thing with the stripes... To be honest, I didn´t really think about it back then. Started just a couple hours before the deadline anyway. I still like the $ sign though! ;-)

Well, the US flag has 13 stripes. Your flag has eleven... like Liberia.

The US flag has 50 stars... Your has a single dollar sign. The Liberian flag has a single star. Thus, your illustration resembles the Liberian flag more than the US one.

We find that thirteen stripes and fifty stars looks better when we impale doves with the flagpole. The Liberian flag just won't do.
